At Covenant Tabernacle, we believe in following Christ's Great Commission to "'go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen." (Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV) As such, we believe in discipling and individuals, families, communities, cities, states, and nations in obedience to God's word. We believe that discipling our communities, cities, states, and nations means that we are to go into all the world and train from individuals to nations in obedience to God's word. We believe that Christ's command to "go into all the world" applies not only to nations and geographical regions but also industries and fields that make up the nations. In other words, we believe that Christians and the church should be a leader in the arts, entertainment, health, business, and politics. We don't for a minute think that power, money, or politics is the answer, but we know that if Christians aren't leading in these areas, non-Christians will lead (and are presently leading).
